* Leon shook hands w/ the audience.

10/13/05 - I was sitting in the Blue section, Row AC, which was the 3rd row from the middle stage...it was the opposite side from where I was sitting the night before. This night was the Community Chest charity night, so the people sitting in the first few rows in the section next to me to the left were all dressed up formally...I think they're high ranking HK people/business people/gov't people. Someone told me the tickets sold for the close seats that night cost HK$2000 (US$257) each!...it's for charity. well, I didn't pay that price for my ticket...I'm not sure if my mom's friend who helped to get our tickets paid that much for the ticket though. Anyway, the most surprising part was when I heard lots of people cheering and clapping before the concert began...everyone near me was turning around to see what was going on..a very important person was entering the venue with lots of security guards surrounding him... it's Donald Tsang Yam Kuen!..the current Chief Executive of Hong Kong...sort of like the president of HK. The audience was clapping and cheering for him the whole time he was walking towards his seat..until he finally sat down less than 10 rows behind and a little to the left of where I was sitting... I was definitely not expecting to see such an important person during my trip to HK! Leon always has good things to say about Donald... and since Leon is one of the board members for the Communtity Chest charity organization and Donald is also a supporter of Community Chest, so I'm guessing that's why Donald came to see the show. He actually stayed for almost the entire show!..he left before the last song...it was sometime after Leon sang with Michael Kwong Leung.

The only thing I could remember that was different from the other shows was when Chapman was doing the welcoming speech at the beginning of the show... he said something like "welcome to the (Donald) Tsang Yam Kuen concert!..and the audience cheered. and then a little later during the show, Leon said that tonight was the Community Chest charity night... and he thanked Donald Tsang for being at the concert..and Donald waved to everyone... and the fans cheered.

I think this was the only night that there were 2 plasma screen monitors in front of the stage for my section...probably because Donald Tsang and the VIP guests were sitting on our side, so we could see what Leon looked like even when his back was facing us. On other nights of the show, the only monitors available for the audience sitting in the lower section was the monitor way up on the ceiling above them..and like I said before, it's difficult to see anything on that monitor.

I don't think I went to get a handshake from Leon on this night...or if I did, then I didn't go on the previous night. Donald Tsang was sitting in a good spot for Leon to give him a handshake...he was in the last row of our section and would just have to turn around and Leon could shake his hand...so Leon shook Donald's hand when he walked by.
