Here's the rundown for Leon's HK concert on the 2nd night.
* Leon shook hands w/ the audience.
10/11/05 - I was sitting in the Yellow section, Row H, which was about 8-9 rows plus a walkway away from the stage, and the 3rd row for the handshake part of the concert. Before the concert started, I was able to see the singer Wilfred Lau Ho Lung..who was sitting about 4 seats plus an aisle to my right.. and I saw Leon's god-father Wu Fung walking in the aisle near me to walk to the lower level.. some of the fans around me were calling his name and he said hi. I also saw one of the Community Chest members sitting in the seat right in front of Wilfred... I don't know his name, but you would almost always see him with Leon at the Community Chest events. Later on during the show, I noticed that Alex Fong Lik San was sitting in the seat where Wilfred was sitting earlier. Since Alex's seat was right next to the aisle, some people were able to spot him even though he was wearing a cap. During the part when Janice was singing, some gals actually walked up to Alex to request to take a picture!...geez..I can understand if someone had to go to the restroom during that time period, but to get up out of their seats to take a pix with another singer who's trying to watch the show?..come on!.. anyway, after about 3 of them took pix with Alex, the security guard didn't let anymore people take pix with him. I'm guessing the few rows next to my section were the VIP people..there were 3-4 rows where there was basically nobody holding a lightstick!..and less than 5 people were taking pictures..that was kinda weird. All those people left the concert early..don't remember exactly when they left, but at least 3 songs before the end.
On the first song "There's Not a Day I Don't Think of You," fans could see an image of Leon on the big TV screen while he was singing the song, with some red rocks floating around him, but he wasn't standing on stage yet. He didn't come on stage until the 2nd half of this song. This same thing happened during the 3rd-6th shows.
During the show on the 1st night, Leon had worn a black hat with the gray jacket to sing "Nameless Song, Anonymous You," but tonight he decided not to wear the hat until after he took off the gray jacket when he was singing "Man With Love." He did the same thing during the 3rd-6th shows.
Also, when Leon was singing "If I Can See You Again," the big TV screen showed the image of him on stage (forgot if this happened on this night or if it was on the 3rd night)...Leon just stood in one spot during this song.. he was standing on the stage near the big TV screen. This same thing happened during the 3rd-6th shows. When he was singing this song tonight, he again sort of mumbled the words right before the chorus part for the 2nd half of the song...and the same thing happened on the next night. I can't remember if he sang this song correctly on the 4th night, but he made an even bigger mistake on the 5th and 6th nights..going silent for a few seconds.
I didn't get a handshake this night...I didn't want to push/shove with the fans in the aisle to try and get a handshake.
I noticed that Leon kind of favors one side more than the other during each night...like he would face a particular side more than the other side when singing songs... just depends on which side the 'important' people are sitting on during which night. Like for the first night, I'm guessing maybe Leon knew that Antony Leung Kam Chung (former Financial Secretary of HK) was sitting on the side that I was sitting on, cuz he faced our side of the stage more often that night, and then for the show tonight, I was sitting on the opposite side of the stage, and Leon was facing our side more often than the other side, probably cuz his god-father was on our side, and also the Community Chest guy and other VIP people were on our side.... and also on the show for 10/13, I sat on the same side as the first night, and since there were a number of VIP guests sitting on our side, Leon again faced our side more than the other.
Since Leon didn't sing "Don't Lick the Wound" and half of "How Can You Be Willing to Let Me Feel Sad" on this night, the show ended about 5 minutes earlier than the first night..and the show ended about the same time for the 3rd-5th shows.
